Does God Have A Plan?

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
  1. God Has a Plan For Everything:  Isa 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,    Isa 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
  2. He Doesn't Just Know The Beginning and Ending; He Is The Beginning and Ending:  Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
  3. What The Enemy Means For Evil, God Turns It Into Good:    Gen 50:19 And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?   Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

What Is God's Purpose?

Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
  1. He Has Called People According To His Purpose: Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
  2. Your Calling Is To Fulfill God's Purpose:  2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
  3. 1Jn 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
  4. The Enemy Has A Mission, but Jesus Has A Bigger Mission:  Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Luk 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

What Is The Last Days?

There are many things that describe the last days, but lets look at two notable events:
  1. Perilous Times:  2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  Perilous - through the idea of reducing the strength; difficult, that is, dangerous, or (by implication) furious: - fierce, perilous (Strongs).
  2. God will pour out his spirit:  Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
  3. These things will happen at the same time. While some people are having perilous times, others will expierience an outpouring. Perilous times may draw some people to repentance.

What is God's Timeing

Act 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
Act 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
  1. We Are To Continue Unti He Comes:  Luk 19:12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.   Luk 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
  2. What Will We See:  Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Pestilences - Of uncertain affinity; a plague (literally the disease, or figuratively a pest): - pestilence (-t).
  3. The True Sign of The End: Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
